• What drew you to BZen Wellness?

• Will you share some pearls you’ve received from your breathwork journeys?

Breathwork has changed my life. I always tell people, “Breathwork is like years of therapy in one session, for me.” It has allowed me to connect my mind and my body in order to release so many stored feelings and memories. I have always loved to dive deep into the human psyche but this modality just makes it way more enchanting.

• Tell us about your first experience with yoga.

I was studying psychology at the University of Oregon and in search of many personal answers. I signed up for my first yoga class, by this beautiful older woman. She was the first one to teach me how vital it was to calm the mind, breathe, and look within for answers. I have never stopped practicing and seeking since.

• What does being of service mean to you?

I used to think being of service meant to people please and make sure peoples needs were filled without knowing my own. I now know that it has everything to do with your own personal talents and gifts. To me, it means to build yourself up in your gifts so that when the time hits to serve you can do it abundantly.

• What/who inspires you the most?

The long line of badass women that have come before me and those that are by my side. I’m continuously empowered by their stories and resiliency to never give up.

• What are you currently working on in yourself?

Listening to myself, being more sober minded and patient.
