BZen Intention House: Volume 1
What if we all took moments each day to flow and move with our bodies? Closing our eyes to breathe deep as we moved to the sound of music that fills our soul. What if you danced like no one is watching? Or if everyone was watching? How would you feel in your body if you simply moved it intuitively?
Can you take some time each day to pause what you’re doing and dance? Close your eyes and move as you take in this beautiful soundscape—Intentional House music produced and mixed by Ombe from our BZen Visuals guided meditations.

Welcome
We love house music! Why not make it intentional? Dance is life. Movement is life. Music is beautiful. We all need to gift ourselves the opportunity to dance each day. Whether we’re dancing alone with our eyes closed, in the dark, in a crowd at a concert, on stage, or with our children, dance is a form of art and a form of healing.
The conduit: music! It’s difficult to imagine what life would be like without music. In fact, life would be quite bleak without it. In the creation process, we collected raw audio of my beautiful, sacred sound tools: Remo buffalo drum, crystal harp, Columbian rattles, chimes, crystal sound bowls, himalayan sound bowls, gong and vocals, and then Jared created beats from these tools to make some incredible house music tracks! This music is genuinely sound healing in such a fun form.
Ecstatic dance is a free form expression of movement with music as our guide, absent from self criticism or specific dance steps, in a safe space. It’s an opportunity to express ourselves through movement to release stuck emotion, stagnant energy and connect within. This album is a WELCOMING into your own movement patterns, your own breath, and your body. Can you allow yourself to move to the music without judgement of how you look? Can you let yourself just move? No matter where your body is today, move something for goodness sake (a head nod will do, too).
Turn up the volume. Let’s get started.

Vibrant
“Feeling immense gratitude and appreciation. Perhaps you begin to count and recall 3 things that you are grateful for. Allow yourself to visualize those things. For your vibrant health, your vibrant body…”
When was the last time you took a moment to count up your gratitudes, particularly about yourself? The vibration of gratitude, really feeling grateful for who we are, our health, and our current body matters and becomes our reality. Instead of seeing ourselves in the future, or desiring something different outside of the present time, puts our energy in a state of not having, grasping, and desperation (a lower vibrational frequency). Why not have deep appreciation for where and who we are in this present moment?
I am so grateful to be healthy and vibrant. I am so grateful for my body right now. I am so grateful for the nourishment I offer myself daily. Repeat these affirmations and watch your life shift for the better.
Turn up the volume and let’s start dancing!

Thank You Body
My body has carried me through so much. She has healed over and over again. She’s whispered and cried for me to slow down and endured numerous surgeries and ailments. Although I have often questioned, WHY?! Screamed and weeped wondering why me?! Those questions never last long, because I have come to realize that this body and my life is a gift.
She’s carried me up mountains, through my yoga practice, to the depths of the sea, traveling the continents, playing on the floor with babies, and weight lifting sprees.
This song makes me want to move. Fluidly and beautifully. It brings up memories of my dance days and my desire to ecstatic dance. I envision myself moving organically out in nature, surrounded by wildflowers. Embracing my divine feminine power, breathing deeply in my body. Sounds of my organic instruments and beats produced by Jared Alexander Masters, OBM, send chills down my spine. I haven’t tired of listening to it.
And I repeat aloud, even on my hardest days, Thank you, body. I love you, body. I place my hands on my body and offer her my warm embrace. This body is a gift. I cherish it, I nourish it, I listen to it, I honor it. We only have one body in this lifetime. Can we simply slow down and fall in love with it?
Thank You, Body.

Cultivate Love
When I think of the word, cultivate, I think of gardening or cultivating a piece of land. It takes work and practice. Can you begin to cultivate a practice of self love and inner peace now? It can be as simple as telling yourself, “I love you” while looking in the mirror, or applying your favorite oil to your skin and loving yourself while you massage it into your skin. Perhaps it’s by taking a deep breath or stepping outside for some fresh air. Our inner peace and love for self doesn’t require a 10-step process. It’s simple practices each day that cultivate it. The garden must be tended to daily.
Jared, OMBE, our amazing producer wizard shared this:
Cultivate Love starts in nature’s womb. Imagine; lying in soft grass in a field in a safe place, a soft lit evening sky stars blinking into view, a gentle breeze swaying the trees around you. This is my safe place. Growing up in the Applegate Valley my acoustic guitar and I would find places like this as much as possible. So this collaboration called for this atmospheric sound design, using one of BZen’s ocean drums that feels like the gentle wind, or maybe a stream nearby – plus my acoustic guitar, which made for a very familiar place to cultivate love, and peace. Then, I sampled Brittany’s flute for that soft lead sound, which is then accompanied by some synth friends. There is a patterned drum that is also a sample of BZen’s buffalo drum. When the bass and drums kick in together this is where a lot of energy comes in – motivation to drop into a place where we have freedom of movement – I hope this song encourages you to dance like no one’s watching, and cultivate some much needed peace, love, and comfort into your world .

Enjoy.

I’m Sorry
‘I’m Sorry’ is a very special dance track based on the Ho’oponopono prayer. This is a Hawaiian practice of forgiveness to help heal relationships. Most often, the relationship we need to work on is the one with ourselves. Can we forgive ourselves for everything we’ve done out of alignment? Everyone we’ve hurt along the way (including ourselves)? Those who have hurt us? I know it’s easier said than done, but forgiveness is for us, not for the other person or situation. Forgiveness will set us free.
Forgiveness is a practice and these simple words work:
I’m Sorry
Please Forgive Me
I Love You
Thank you
There are many ways you can use this ritual. You can start by simply repeating the words.
I love listening to this track and hope you do too!

Be with It
Be With It has some of the best intentions to share.
“Whatever arises, be with it. Hold yourself.”
This is a cue to be with all of the emotions that arise in our day to day lives. Can we be with the challenging feelings of sadness, anger, frustration, grief, heartbreak? It’s so easy to enjoy and embrace the more ‘positive’ emotions and push aside the more difficult ones. They say you have to ‘feel it to heal it’, so this track invites us to bring the emotions forward to be felt. Sometimes all we need to do is ‘move a little, shake a little’ to allow those stuck emotions to flow through and out of the body. Has anyone else been feeling a lot lately? I know I’m not the only one…
Remixed from our original guided meditation, Breathe, a 14 minute guided breathwork practice, Jared Masters, OMBE, brought incredible beats created from the sound tools used in the original recording. Pretty epic, right?!
